MacDonell House
Much of the fine woodwork and detail of the MacDonell House is visible in the formal dining room as well as the breakfast room. A variety of wood types were utilized in the finishes including columns and doors constructed of two different woods so as to match the rooms they were facing. The beamed ceiling of the dining room meets the built-in, wall-to-wall hutch and side-board, easily capable of housing silver, china, and linens for a table of ten or more.
